Roundtable Discussion with SickKids Foundation

The Canadian Business Council is hosting this roundtable to coincide with the visit of SickKids Foundation (SKF), based in Toronto, Canada.

The SickKids Foundation is one of Canada’s largest charity foundations holding endowments valued at more than 1 billion Canadian dollars, or approximately AED 2.8 billion. The SickKids Foundation will be in Abu Dhabi for a series of meetings seeking to:

• Understand the role of philanthropy in the UAE and its impact locally and internationally
  
• Engage with business leaders/corporations with defined Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategies
  
• Connect with business leaders in the UAE in the healthcare, education, and finance sectors
  

Mr. Ted Garrard, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Foundation, will lead the discussion on behalf of SickKids. You have been invited to join the roundtable discussion to discuss with other business leaders, thoughts and lessons learned.
