Join the Canadian Business Council (CBC) Abu Dhabi for a webinar information session on cost cuts in the oil and gas industry - legal and strategic considerations.

Following the decline in the oil price, Saudi Aramco announced on 15 March 2020 that the company would cut spending in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak. The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has notified contractors and suppliers that it will review existing contracts to cut costs due to the steep slide in oil prices. This webinar deals with the legal implications of such cost cuts and strategic consideration direct and indirect suppliers should undertake.

This webinar will provide insights on how to avoid and prepare for disputes in light of the Coronavirus-Crisis.

Dr. Constantin Frank-Fahle, LL.M., will discuss the following aspects:

  • Oil Price Crash
  • Impact on Direct Suppliers
  • Impact on Indirect Suppliers
  • Outlook
  • Conclusion

Dr. Constantin-Frank-Fahle, LL.M., Managing Partner at Germela Law LLP, is a qualified German Attorney-At-Law. He specializes in advising investors on expanding and localizing in the Middle East & Asia, strategic negotiations, and cross-border disputes.
