The Incubators of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum 2021, organized by the Higher Colleges of Technology, will be launched virtually from 21 to 24 February 2021, under the slogan “Realize… Connect… Launch”.
The forum comes within the Higher Colleges of Technology's participation in the activities of the UAE Innovation Month under the slogan “The UAE Innovates 2021” organized by the UAE government at the state level from 21 to 27 February 2021, which is one of the largest innovation events in the world.
The Incubators of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum 2021 is an exemplary embodiment of the Higher Colleges of Technology's commitment to integrate innovation and entrepreneurship concepts into its basic educational programs and activities, as part of its keenness to promote a culture of innovation throughout the UAE in support of the national strategy for innovation.
The forum provides a unique platform for innovators, change-makers, academics, representatives of government agencies and business sectors to collaborate, discuss current issues and trends, and review the latest global research and innovative startups through a series of interactive speeches, dialogue panels and presentations in four strategic sectors, namely health, sustainability, education and emerging technologies.
These comprehensive topics will be addressed during the first three days of the forum, which will witness the participation of an elite group of participants in “strategic expectations” and “inspiration and reflection” sessions. The last day will be devoted to presenting emerging projects for young entrepreneurs to share their bold innovations covering the four sectors.
The forum mainly aims to explore innovation opportunities in strategic sectors (awareness). To provide a source of inspiration and a new model for collaboration between stakeholders (communication); And stimulating the contribution of the Higher Colleges of Technology in promoting innovation and creating wealth in the United Arab Emirates through applied research and start-up companies (launch).
