In November 2021, Abu Dhabi introduced a new family law for non-Muslims. Making Abu Dhabi the first in the Gulf to implement secular laws on personal issues strengthening the Emirates position as a safe and secure environment for all residents.
Join us on Monday, 31 January 2022 as we welcome, Dr. Ahmed Abdul Zaher and Judge Chloe Syron, from the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department to discuss these changes and what impact these changes will have on expats. The topic of discussion will include; marriage, divorce, joint custody for children, stronger safeguards for women as well as the importance and the process of registering a Will with the ADJD.
