CBC ADIPEC Reception | 3 November 2025

The Canadian Business Council was proud to host the CBC ADIPEC Reception on Monday, 3 November 2025, bringing together senior leaders from across the energy sector alongside representatives from government, industry, and the wider Canadian business community.

Held during ADIPEC, one of the world’s most significant energy events, the reception provided a valuable platform for meaningful networking, knowledge exchange, and dialogue around current and future opportunities in the energy sector. We were honoured to welcome Premier of Alberta Danielle Smith, former Prime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper, and Alberta Minister of Tourism and Sport Joseph Schow, whose presence underscored the importance of Canada–UAE engagement in the global energy landscape.

Guests had the opportunity to connect with Canadian companies, regional stakeholders, and industry decision-makers in an informal yet highly focused setting. The strong turnout and quality of engagement throughout the evening reflected the growing interest in Canadian expertise across the energy value chain, from traditional oil and gas to energy transition, innovation, and sustainability.

The event once again reinforced the CBC’s role as a trusted connector, supporting collaboration between Canadian companies and key regional partners while strengthening Canada–UAE energy ties.
